In pursuit of strengthening relationships with agencies of shared objectives, the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management-Philippines, Inc. (APAD-Ph) and the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi (UST-Legazpi) thru the College of Health Sciences (CHS) in coordination with the Center for Community Involvement (CCI) signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today. This focuses to establish effective health emergency disaster risk management emphasizing prevention, preparedness, and readiness together with response and recovery to save lives and protect one’s health.
The said MOU signing was participated by the APAD-Ph President, Mr. Gilbert Albero, and his wife, together with the APAD-Ph Assistant Coordinator, Ms. Marites L. Lopez. On the other hand, UST-Legazpi was represented by its Assistant to the Rector for Academic Affairs, Ms. Marytina Raquel R. Bonganay, MOS, Ms. Athena G. Masip, MAN, CHS Dean, and Ms. Hazel M. Bermundo, CCI Director.
