UST-LEGAZPI NAMES NEW ADMINISTRATORS, SUPERVISORS, AND PROGRAM CHAIRS

In line with the forthcoming installation of its 9th Rector and President, the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi named its new set of Administrators, Supervisors, and Program Chairs through the Signing of Designation papers last August 11, 2023, at the St. John Macias Pavilion Hall A.

The Office of the Rector and President (ORP) together with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) facilitated the signing of designation papers by fifty administrators and supervisors, and twenty-nine program chairs.

Before the actual signing, UST-Legazpi’s new Rector and President, Rev. Fr. Edwin A. Lao, OP, DBA, gave a message to the new set of university leaders.

“Ang papel na pipirmahan natin ay expression ng ating committment ng inyong pagpapahayag na maging bahagi ng supervisory and administrative teams na tunay na mahalaga sa ating pamamalakad in our administering and managing this institution,” Rev. Fr. Lao said.

Fr. Edwin also expressed to the new set of officers how their work as supervisors and administrators can espouse the Dominican way of life. He said that their participation as supervisors and administrators would be their share in the ministry that they as Dominicans do.

“Be glad and be proud that you are part and that you own the tasks of the Dominicans – evangelization through education. We consider them as ministry or apostolic work. It is one of the biggest and foremost ministries of the Dominicans,” he said.

“I thank you for and in behalf of our community – the Dominicans, in the Philippines for saying yes to become cooperators, collaborators, team workers of our evangelization through education,” Fr. Lao added.
