Divided into four teams, the Legazpi Thomasian workforce had a friendly joust in several games at the 2023 Employees’ Sportsfest hosted by the Center for Sports, Wellness, Culture and the Arts (CSWCA) in partnership with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) last July 27-29, 2023.
With three hundred ninety points, Team Juan emerged as overall champion with three hundred ninety-five points followed by Team Enteng on second place with three hundred ninety points. Landing third was Team Tomas with three hundred twenty-five points and on fourth was Team Inggo with two hundred sixty points.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jobert Landez from Team Tomas and Ms. Salvacion Ceneta from Team Enteng were proclaimed as the 2023 Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest followed by Mr. Joshua Paguio (Team Juan) and Ms. Ginelle Sisno (Tomas) as first runner-up. Next to them were Mr. Nes Karl Bonto (Inggo) and Ms. Maita Orense (Juan) as second runner-up, and Mr. Berehnz Berango (Enteng) and Ms. Jenny Marinda (Inggo) as third runner-up.
The four teams battled out in Basketball (Men and 3×3), Mixed Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Mixed Campus Relay, Tug of War, Scrabble, Dart, and Chess (Men and Women).
