UST-Legazpi and its research efforts once again made it to the national scene after Assistant Professor Silvino B. Balasta Jr., MRP, presented his paper at the 3rd Biennial Summit of the Union of Societies and Association of Philosophy in the Philippines (USAPP) last June 1-3, 2023 at Saint Louis University in Baguio City.
Asst. Prof. Balasta’s research entitled “A Discourse on Abortion as a Feminist Advocacy” is one of the many presented studies in the said event attended by philosophers, scholars, and students in the country.
The 3rd Biennial USAPP Summit bears the theme “Philosophies in the Philippines: Past, Present, and Future” that also coincided with the 50th Founding Anniversary of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP).
