HRMO CONDUCTS 5in1 KAPIHAN, A SEMINAR ON STATUTORY BENEFITS AND LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS

With the end in view of re-orienting the Legazpi Thomasian Workforce with knowledge and understanding of government-mandated benefits and livelihood programs, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) conducted this year’s “5in1 Kapihan” on June 30, 2023, at the St. John Macias Pavillion Hall (A).

The said activity was designed to give the employees of the university further information on the benefits and programs provided by identified agencies. It also aimed to give the participants more understanding of the compensable factors arising from and in the course of their employment.

The Social Security System (SSS) presented a video material discussing concerns and updates on SSS benefits and its retirement programs.

As for the Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC), Ms. Ma. Yvette Casin-Bonavente, Information Officer III of ECC gave an update on their Policies, Programs, and Benefits.

PAG-IBIG, on the other hand, also did the same, with Ms. Kristhel Kate L. Azuran, Marketing and Customer Support Assistant of PAG-IBIG as resource speaker.

Updates were also given by Philhealth through Mr. Romeo L. Arnedo, Jr., Phihealth Planning Assistant I.

On the other hand, one of the main priorities of the said activity is to educate the university’s retiring employees on different livelihood programs offered by the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA) which was discussed by Ms. Shellie Marionne S. Villareal, TESDA Specialist II.
