Taking the act of reframing the academe-industry collaboration, the third day of the week-long University Research Festival highlighted a lecture session on Business and Education at the Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH) on April 26, 2023.
The said lecture session featured Dr. Elizabeth E. Alfane, an academician, researcher, and peer reviewer of multidisciplinary international journals.
Dr. Alfane shared researches and takeaways featuring research participation of the private sector in the Philippines and a social entrepreneurship research on the employability of youths with special needs.
On the other hand, Dr. Gerry S. Digo, a professor and one of the top scientists at Sorsogon State University, talked about outstanding points in shaping education through research and its benefits.
