CCI HIGHLIGHTS WOMEN’S WELFARE ON 12TH GABI NG KARAPATANG PANTAO

In adherence to UST-Legazpi’s advocacy on justice, peace, and care for creation, the Center for Community Involvement (CCI) presented this year’s Gabi ng Karapatang Pantao (GKP). GKP is part of the university’s National Service Training Program (NSTP) where students stage artworks and plays centering on themes focused on human rights. 

Now on its 12th edition, this year’s GKP centered on women’s welfare featuring current issues and plights as well as mainstreaming other sectors in the country and their respective advocacies. All these were held on March 3, 2023 at the UST-Legazpi Dome. 

To date, CCI’s Gabi ng Karapatang Pantao is the university’s biggest form of advocacy for Human Rights, mobilized by the NSTP students. Through the Gabi ng Karapatang Pantao, Legazpi Thomasians are given a platform to interpret the state of human rights in local, national, and international settings.
