To promote harmonious relationships among family members, the Office of Guidance and Testing (OGT) in partnership with the Basic Education Department launched a seminar entitled “KAAGAPAY: ‘Parenting in the New Normal'” last May 20, 2023, at the Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH).
The said seminar was positioned to impart on parents of the Basic Education Department wisdom on carrying out their roles and responsibilities towards their children. This will also help parents improve their communication skills when relating to their children.
Apart from the parents and guardians as attendees, present also in the said event are the officers from the Parents and Instructors Association (PIA) and Parents, Instructors, and Students Association (PISA) who assisted in the conduct of the said seminar.
Mr. Efraem A. Janairo, MAEd., LPT, RGC, CSASS, Director of the Guidance, Testing, and Placement Department of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, served as the guest speaker who helped the parents to be equipped with better understanding on fostering harmonious relationships among family members.
