The University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi is proud to congratulate its 49 new Legazpi Thomasian Lawyers who passed the 2022 BAR Examinations held in Naga City as one of the fourteen local testing centers for the BAR Examinations after its decentralization brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 49 Legazpi Thomasian new lawyers are part of the 3,992 passers this year out of the 9,183 examinees last November, tagged as “#CaguiWOWBar”.
The 2022 BAR Examinations returned to its original month of conduct in November and were split in four days (2 weekdays and 2 Sundays).
Looking back, UST-Legazpi left a big mark on the map when Atty. Mae Diane M. Azores topped the 2019 BAR Examinations together with Atty. Myra M. Baranda who landed on the third spot. It can also be remembered that Atty. Ralph Karlo B. Barcelona ranked 7th in the 2012 BAR Exams. Moreover, in the 2020-2021 BAR Examinations, UST-Legazpi hailed 120 plus lawyers including 6 exemplary passers.
