Dressed in their onesies and cute sleepwear, our Legazpi Thomasian Preschoolers gathered at the UST-Legazpi Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH) for the 2023 PSE Night last March 28, 2023.
The PSE Night, a program hosted by the Preschool and Elementary Department of UST-Legazpi is a celebration activity featuring dance, song, and even story-reading numbers.
Josephine D. Abainza, LPT, Assistant Principal for the PSE Department highlighted to the parents that the said activity doesn’t just showcase the preschooler’s talents and skills but also shows how strong their commitment is to learning, “to do what they know what they can do and to do what they believe that they can do.”
“As adults, we consider this (event) as a child’s play but for all we know, a child’s play is a serious business that we parents should support,” Abainza continued her opening remarks on how essential ‘play’ is to a young one.
In the end, Abainza continuously encouraged Legazpi Thomasian parents to support, guide, and show their children ways in whatever their child chooses to go in life.
